Tim Farrell and Vernon Presley:
A Photo Comparison

One of the things people have been curious -- and maybe a little skeptical -- about, is the fact that Tim does not look like Elvis. He does have Elvis' body type, and many of his mannerisms, but the real resemblance is between Tim and Vernon Presley, Elvis' father. We're posting some photos below so that you can also see the resemblance!

We have also seen in many of Vernon's photos what certainly appears to be a rather large birthmark on the right side of his face and neck. It is very visible in some photos, and not visible at all in others. Did Vernon cover his birthmark with make-up? Was it just very light?

We're hoping someone out there knows about this birthmark. It is an important bit of information for us because, not only does Tim look like Vernon, he also has a birthmark on the right side of this face and neck! So if any of you have a picture of Vernon that shows this birthmark, please send it to us. And, as always, let us know what you think! This is one of those mysteries we continue to unravel as we get closer to finding the truth.

Thanks!
Friends of Tim Farrell

Just thought you might like to know: birthmarks are NOT hereditary. The following is from madsci.org, just google "birthmarks + hereditary"
"The second facet of your question is whether the location/shape of
birthmarks is hereditary. In general the answer to this question is also
negative: sporadic birthmarks generally represent a somatic mutation which
occurred as an individual grew from an embryo. The affected region
represents all the cells descended from the single cell where the mutation
originally occurred. Thus, a mutation early in embryogenesis can affect a
large area on a person's body, while a late mutation will affect a
proportionately smaller area. However, because the mutation happened at
random during development, the likelihood that any two individuals will have
exactly the same birthmark is pretty small. Kind of like snowflakes."
I wish you the best of luck in your efforts!

It is proven that MANY people of Mayan descent have birthmarks on their lower backs. All relatively similar in size and location. Therefore I don't think it's impossible for birthmarks to be similar.

I have to respond, a few years late to the person who feels science can be explained in only black and white. My grandmother passed along her birthmark (same spot, color) to almost every child/grandchild she had, which was 11 children, 34 grandchildren and 44 gr-grandchildren at the time of her death...NOT hereditary? Tell that to my family!
And no, Tim doesnt look like Elvis...but I dont look like either of my parents, and no i'm not adopted... I am however as my dad likes to say, the spitting image of his mother!
