Elvis Presley DNA test attempted and other news.
A group of musicians from Jackson Michigan and I have formed a group. The name of our band is Jump Start and we are giving our debut performance on June 5th at 7:30 p.m. at the Ella Sharp Museum of Arts and Natural History’s Grand Community Room in Jackson. Our music features lots of old rock and roll and country swing and more than just a few slow songs. We invite everyone to join us. Bring your dancing shoes.
Recently, we bought a used dinner napkin that Elvis used to wipe sweat from his face and chest at a concert in Vegas. We purchased it from Robin Rosaaen of California. She is an Elvis memorabilia collector. We sent the item to a lab for touch DNA testing, but the item was contaminated. Disappointing, to say the least.
We are looking at yet another possible source for his DNA. I will let everyone know how it goes.
